Dear Fellow Alliance College Alumni,
I hope this letter finds all of you safe and healthy. It’s been a crazy six months. We hope everyone is weathering the pandemic while being careful and maintaining sanity.
After making the difficult but cautious decision to cancel the 2020 Reunion, we committed to remain in contact with the 2020 reunion venues and to determine a time appropriate to reschedule our Reunion. That time has come.
I am pleased to announce we have reached agreement with our partners at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel and Erie Yacht Club, and we will proceed with the Alliance College Alumni Reunion August 27-29, 2021. The same rates will apply for the rooms as were offered last year – $149 per night. And, we were able to negotiate some nice improvements to make our stay and meetings at the Sheraton even more comfortable and productive.
More details will follow, however; we thought it wise to share this information early so you can begin making plans to attend. We would also appreciate you telling all your alumni friends about the new dates so we can shatter our previous attendance record and make this an event to remember. The Reunion is timed to coincide with the Zabawa Festival just a few miles from the Sheraton. Some of us visited the festival in 2019 and it’s a fun way to pass your afternoon.
Reunion attendees must be Alliance College Alumni Association members. To encourage membership, if you renew for two or more years you will receive a special gift: your choice of two limited edition prints of oil paintings by our very own ACAA Secretary, Helen Tueffel (Dziob). More information will follow about membership and renewal, including an updated registration form.
Please let all your friends know to save the dates and to watch for more information on the ACAA Facebook page and via email.
See you in August 2021!
Sincerely,
Mike
