ACAAF Endowment Campaign
Dear Fellow Alliance College Alumni and Friends,
This, we celebrate the 110-year legacy of Alliance College. An institution that uniquely represented the importance that Polish Americans placed on the value of an education as a way of assimilating and building on the American dream. As we gather again this coming October, I want to share with you that the Alliance College Alumni Association Foundation is continuing in its efforts to maintain the legacy of Alliance College by offering educational scholarships to deserving young men and women who have a family member who was a graduate of Alliance College. While the scholarship is open to all students of Polish descent, we are uniquely interested in supporting your grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members who are pursuing higher education at institutions in the United States. Our last scholarship was awarded in 2018, prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. While the pandemic has dampened our ability to gather on an annual basis, we will again offer scholarships this coming October
when we meet for the reunion.
Through the past generous donations of your fellow alumni, we are able to offer these important scholarships. We are again asking you to support the legacy of Alliance College and of our unique group of alumni by considering a gift to the Foundation.
As we celebrate 110 years since the founding of our beloved alma mater, please consider making a gift to the foundation of $110.00 dollars as part of your reunion commitment. You can use the link on this website to make your gift. All gifts are fully tax-deductible.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. You can reach me at rjd44282@hotmail.com.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you at the reunion,
Richard Day ’85
President
Alliance College Alumni Association Foundation
Foundation History
In 2009, the Alliance College Alumni Association Foundation (ACAAF) was formed as a 501(c)(3), taxexempt organization, building on a $10,000 bequest from the estate of Helen Satoski. As a way to
honor the spirit of Alliance College, to keep that spirit alive, and to promote and encourage postsecondary education, the ACAAF created an annual scholarship providing a $1,500 award to an eligible
student. Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, the foundation funds have grown to over $30,000 and a
scholarship has been awarded for each of the past six years. To date, all of the recipients have been
related to Alliance alumni.
