Details: I represented my company on two industry Boards. The Mobile Electronics Association board, where I was on their manufacturer advisory committee and chaired two committees in the group. I also was on the Mobile Electronics Board of the US Government sponsored Consumer Technology Association. I was Vice-Chair from 2020-2022 and was Chairman from 2022 until my retirement in 2023.

Details: ACAA Board since 2022. I have been employed in the Financial services business for nearly 40 years. I have served as treasurer of my community association in the past. I have also participated in and chaired various committees and industry Boards.

I feel my skills and career experience are well-suited to benefit the Board. I am currently the Chairman of the website committee and feel my current role as IT Vendor Manager for the University of Chicago is a benefit to manage the relationship with our website vendor. I also have a lot of fundraising experience for various organizations.

Why do you want to serve on the Alliance College Alumni Association Board
I am all-in for preserving the legacy of Alliance College. The importance of Alliance College in the history of Cambridge Springs, and in our own personal histories cannot be lost to future generations. I am proud of what has been accomplished over the past and want to continue to be part of the future. I have thoroughly enjoyed my position as Secretary for the ACAA.

Do you have any experience serving on an organization Board? Yes
Details: In addition to serving on the ACAA Board for the past 4 years, I served 6 years on the Board of Officers for Lakeshore Humane Society, an adoption center in Western NY that serves Chautauqua County to rescue, adopt and teach. We have 80-100 volunteers assisting each week to maintain the building grounds and care for 40-50cats and 10-15 dogs as well as overseeing our foster program. It is a very different organization from ACAA in terms of mission and goals but the ability to fundraise, cheerlead, train and care are valued skills that would serve both organizations.

Why do you want to serve on the Alliance College Alumni Association Board
Alliance College is important. It is important to me, important to friends and important in history. As I contemplate scaling back my work I want to serve and contribute to organizations that matter. Alliance represents an important chapter in my life and in my heritage.

Do you have any experience serving on an organization Board? Yes
Details: I have served on multiple Boards including government, non-profit as well as private business. I am a management consultant and facilitate Board retreats for all my clients and the non-profit organizations that an I are passionate about. I am currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Skilled Nursing Facility in my home county. We are actively planning to build a continuum of care on our 200-acre campus.
